Aitokiuas 57K
is a classic single-heating stove that respects Finnish sauna tradition. The Aitokiuas has been an iconic sauna heater in Finland since the 1950s. A single-heating stove offers the softest possible steam for a long-lasting and peaceful sauna experience.
Aitokiuas is a classic single-heating sauna stove that respects Finnish sauna traditions. This means that the fire burning in the firebox is in direct contact with the sauna stones, and the smoke from the combustion is directed out through the flue. At the end of heating, the stones glow red hot. The insulated stove retains heat inside for a long time, and the stove is no longer heated in the sauna room while bathing. The sauna temperature is controlled by opening or closing the steam vent, either releasing heat into the room or storing it in the stove. The massive amount of stones allows for the desired, oxygen-rich steam, which is easy to regulate.
The stove casing is insulated, and the insulation material is protected by an inner casing made of stainless steel. The firebox is made of elements cast from refractory material. The stone compartment is lined with firebrick. The stove door, grate, and inner lid are made of cast iron. The stove is delivered in ready-to-assemble parts, which are assembled at the stove's installation site. Mortar or other drying material is not needed. The Aitokiuas delivery includes a 60° connecting flue.
Aitokiuas is delivered without stones.
Ceramic sauna stones are very durable, and they also heat up slightly faster than natural stones. Natural stones need to be replaced more frequently than ceramic stones. Natural stones heat up a bit slower but retain heat longer.
Aitokiuas stoves have accessories and many spare parts. The stove heats the floor more than continuously heated stoves, which is why a round installation base dimensioned for the stove is recommended, especially if there is a waterproof membrane under the tiling. The Narvi fireplace flue is suitable for Aitokiuas when the flue penetration is directly upwards. The stove can also be heated from outside the sauna room, in which case the firebox door is extended with a so-called tunnel section.
