Description

The matte black Juup Original is an easy-to-use artisan stove suitable for saunas of 14 m³ and larger. This CE-marked wood-burning stove heats up quickly and provides long-lasting, moist steam, using less wood than traditional wood-fired stoves. The Original stove comes standard with a glass lower door, while the upper door is solid and made of steel.

Versatile Steam

The Original can hold approximately 40-50kg of stones directly above the firebox in a stone pot. These stones heat up quickly, and every drop of water evaporates into the sauna. Water that does not evaporate upon contact with the hot stones flows down to the bottom of the pot and evaporates gradually. This results in moist, soft, and long-lasting steam. By adjusting the stove's temperature and the amount of water, you can achieve the perfect steam for everyone.

Finnish Craftsmanship
Every Juup artisan stove is unique. To ensure uncompromising quality and durability for decades, one and the same person manufactures the stove from start to finish. Each stove features a nameplate indicating the model, serial number, and the builder's name. The stove has been awarded the Key Flag symbol by the Association for Finnish Work. The Key Flag is a registered collective mark that guarantees the product is manufactured in Finland and employs people in Finland.

The handcrafted stove also includes a copper plate indicating the stove's model, serial number, and the builder's name.

The Juup Original is available with a rear or vertical flue and comes standard with a glass door.

Fast and Economical

The Juup® Original stove challenges the operating model of traditional stoves. The stove is primarily designed to heat the sauna room and secondarily the stone compartment. When the sauna room heats up completely, your feet won't get cold, even if the stone compartment is above your feet.

Utilizing thermodynamics, the stove draws cold air from the sauna room between the outer casing and the firebox, from the bottom of the stove. This air heats up inside the stove and blows out hot from the top of the stove. This ensures that the sauna's temperature rises evenly and quickly.

Thanks to its two doors, the stove is very easy to light and requires only one load of wood to heat up, and only a few logs to maintain the temperature. The wood burns cleanly due to its large combustion chamber, and the measured* carbon monoxide emission is only 0.11%**, which is one of the lowest values on the market.
