All products use only 100% Finnish wood, and domestic origin is the starting point for the company's raw materials and production. The main raw material for the products is Finnish birch, most of which comes from Järvelä in Päijät-Häme. Some of the wood for our products also comes from our own nearby forest.
In addition to domestic origin, responsible operations covering the entire product development, raw materials, and production are of paramount importance to Korte Design. Our products use only sustainable, natural materials. Furniture plywood made from birch is produced in compliance with ecological regulations that support sustainable development.
