Tulikivi Naava
Electric heaters require a separate control unit to function.
The Naava heater combines Finnish soapstone, timeless design, and modern technology in a way that serves one purpose above all – quality löyly (sauna steam). Its round and sculptural shape makes the heater the focal point of the sauna, but its true strength lies in its ability to produce soft, moist, and long-lasting löyly. Naava is designed especially for apartment saunas, where aesthetics and a truly functional sauna experience are desired.
Design that is not just about looks
Naava's round shape is not merely a visual choice; it also supports the even distribution of heat in the sauna. The lively surface of natural stone and finishing options, such as Rigata and Nobile surfaces, as well as full or partial cladding, make the heater easily adaptable to various sauna styles – from modern minimalist to natural and earthy.
Integrates into the sauna
Low surface temperatures and small safety distances allow the heater to be integrated directly into the benches. The result is a clean and finished ensemble, where the heater is not a separate element but part of the sauna's architecture. At the same time, the solution is safe and often achievable without separate safety railings.
Controlled heat, better user experience
Electronic control allows temperature adjustment with a precision of one degree. This is not only a comfort factor but also a way to manage energy consumption and ensure that the heater operates within its optimal range. When the heat is controlled, the löyly is also controlled.
Built to last – a Finnish product
Naava represents Finnish design and production, as indicated by the Key Flag symbol. It is built to withstand use and time – both technically and aesthetically. This is a heater that is not just a purchase, but part of a functional sauna ensemble for years to come.

For heaters:
Tulikivi cleaved-surface sauna stones are suitable for Tulikivi sauna heaters. Sauna stones under 10 cm in size are suitable for electric heaters, and stones over 10 cm are suitable for wood-burning heaters. The sauna stones should be stacked loosely in the heater to allow air to circulate between them. Careful stone arrangement also extends the lifespan of the heater's heating elements.
White and rounded Tulikivi Deco White decorative sauna stones or sawn, classic grey soapstone sauna stones can be used as surface stones on top of the cleaved-surface sauna stones. Thanks to soapstone's heat retention capacity, soapstone sauna stones provide very soft and pleasant steam. The use of ceramic sauna stones in Tulikivi heaters is prohibited.
ARRANGING SAUNA STONES
Electric heaters use olivine diabase stones smaller than 10 cm. The use of ceramic stones is prohibited. If decorative stones supplied by Tulikivi are used in the heater, they should be placed on top of the other sauna stones in such a way that they do not obstruct the heater's airflow and do not touch the heating elements.
