Thanks to thermal modification, aspen becomes even more durable. It gains a beautiful brown color and a pleasant scent. Thermally modified aspen maintains its dimensions better than untreated aspen. It can be used as is, as bare wood, or it can be surface-treated as desired. Paraffin oil treatment deepens the beautiful dark shade of thermally modified aspen, protects the wood, and makes cleaning easier.
