It maintains its dimensions better than non-thermally treated wood and withstands moisture and heat well. Long-lasting thermal aspen benches are very comfortable to sit on, as their pleasantly smooth surface does not overheat even in very hot saunas.
Thanks to thermal treatment, aspen becomes even harder and more durable. It has an elegant noble wood-like surface and a pleasant scent. Thermally treated aspen can be used as is (wood-ready) or can be surface-treated as desired. Paraffin oil or sauna wax treatment deepens the beautiful dark shade of thermal aspen, protects the wood, and makes cleaning easier.
