Aitokiuas

is a classic single-heating sauna stove that respects Finnish sauna traditions. Since the 1950s, Aitokiuas has been an iconic stove that warms Finnish saunas. A single-heating stove offers the softest possible steam, for a long-lasting and peaceful sauna experience.

Aitokiuas is a classic single-heating sauna stove that respects Finnish sauna traditions. This means that the fire burning in the firebox is in direct contact with the sauna stones, and the smoke produced by the fire is directed out through a flue. At the end of heating, the stones glow red with heat. The insulated stove retains heat inside the stove for a long time, and the stove is no longer heated in the sauna room during bathing. The sauna temperature is controlled by opening or closing the steam vent, either releasing heat into the room or storing it in the stove. The massive amount of stones enables the desired, oxygen-rich steam, which is easy to regulate.

The stove casing is insulated, and the insulation material is protected by an inner casing made of stainless steel. The firebox is made of elements cast from refractory mass. The stone compartment is lined with firebrick. The stove door, grate, and inner lid are made of cast iron. The stove is delivered as ready-to-assemble parts, which are assembled at the stove's placement site. No mortar or other drying materials are needed. The Aitokiuas delivery includes a 60° connecting flue.

Aitokiuas is delivered without stones.

Ceramic sauna stones are very durable, and they also heat up slightly faster than natural stones. The replacement interval for natural stone is shorter than for ceramic stone. Natural stone heats up slightly slower but retains heat longer.

Aitokiukaat have accessories and many spare parts. The stove heats the floor more than continuously heated stoves, which is why a round installation base, sized for the stove, is recommended, especially if there is a waterproofing membrane under the tiling. The Narvi Fireplace Flue fits the Aitokiuas when the flue penetration is directly upwards. The stove can also be heated from outside the sauna room, in which case the fire door is extended with a so-called tunnel section.
